I looked at Caelestis Wolfe in confusion and asked, "What do you mean?"
"You saved him, so I should repay you. Do you want to join my pack, get my protection, money, or anything else? Just say." He was a businessman, and he felt that all favors could be repaid with money. He didn't want to owe this woman a favor.
I frowned, took a deep breath, turned my head to the window, and looked out of it. I turned my head and looked at Caelestis Wolfe after a long while. He seemed to have not slept well last night, and he looked tired. Thinking of what had happened yesterday, he must have been frightened.
Thinking of this, I became calm and said, "I want to stay and take care of Aaron."
