CHAPTER SEVEN Anna was in the kitchen, wearing an apron, readying to prepare a feast. “Can you please tell me where a roasting pan is, Simone?” Simone opened a cupboard next to the stove. “All the pots and pans are in here, Madame. Then, pointing above the stove, “And the rest are hanging up here.” “Oh, thank you,” Anna said as she looked through the cupboard.
