CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR
ALPHA AIDEN'S POV :
My heart sank at the news. Wolvesbane was a deadly poison to werewolves, and I knew that my mother's chances of survival were slim.
"How did this happen?" I demanded, my voice laced with anger and fear.
"We're not sure," the warrior replied, "but we believe it was the work of a traitor within our own pack. We're doing everything we can to find out who was responsible, but in the meantime, we need to get your mother to a healer as quickly as possible."
I nodded, my mind racing as I tried to process the news. I knew that I had to remain strong for the sake of the pack, but the thought of losing my mother was almost too much to bear.
Without another word, I turned and followed the warrior to where my mum was as he led the way determined to do ever
