The flight was quiet because the children and the nannies were asleep after the tiring activities on Reid’s Island, but Liam and Anton were driving me nuts. With his elbows propped on the table, Liam cupped his face with his palms, with his eyebrows knitted and eyes squinted at me. Copying his brother, Anton cupped his face, too, and he would tilt his head from side to side as he narrowed his eyes on his brother.
There was a slight difference, though. Liam’s mind was quiet as an empty apartment, but Anton’s was like having a blast at a party. His thoughts were loud and crazy. He has been asking himself what happened last night.
“Stop it, you two!” I hissed as I lowered my head to check on Liam’s schedule for the next few days.
Anton heaved a deep sigh. “Liam, you’re making me crazy.”
