When is ‘too much’ considered too much?
While Nina, Maxon, and Liam busied themselves rearranging the beddings in the attic, I stayed in the gazebo, overlooking the river at the back of the house. I was silent the entire lunch, sharing a few words when asked, but the heaviness in my heart made me want to fly and cry. In the afternoon, Morgana showed me our pictures of when Nathalie and Corynne were babies and how she decided to go a different way when she was still a little girl.
I cried in front of Morgana, letting her know how sad I was that I could not understand, and wished to ask what to do. Although it was becoming clear that Liam was the answer, he had the answer.
