Liam was in shock. After telling him the truth about how I failed my first mission, he slumped back to his seat, fixed his eyes on the oval-shaped window of the plane, and did not utter a single word.
I stood up, leaving him for a while to give him time to process everything. I only went back when the plane landed at the airport.
“Anton,” Liam called but made both of us turn to him. “Can I ask you a favor?”
