"Are you certain you can handle this?" With a tight tone and a glint of reluctance in his eyes, Logan asked. "Do I have an option?" Pulling my jacket firmly over me, I shot back. There was an unspoken tension in the air as the predawn coolness enveloped the trees. After the pandemonium of last night, Logan and I had hardly spoken, yet now here we were, side by side, prepared to police the area.
