“Was I being so annoying that you didn't want to stay around me anymore? I mean, how dare you pretend like you didn't know me. Because you knew I would watch you even in a room full of people. And I knew you would notice me too…” there's the fierce little girl, the stubborn one who wouldn't back away without getting what she wants.
