Chapter 26Though Zander begged Alec not to leave him alone with Will, Alec made a deal with him. Either stay and shut up about the arrangement, or remain tied up until he came back. Zander took the former. Alec figured it was because he didn’t want to suffer the embarrassment of needing to use the bathroom with someone else’s help, especially the man he’d tried to kill.
Will pulled him aside as Rowan untied Zander. “What are you doing? We need those answers.”
“And we’ll get them,” Alec replied. “Zander’s biggest weakness is that he overthinks everything. If we let him stew in his own juices for a couple hours, he’s more likely to crack once we start on him again.”
