  Chapter 30 Alec fumbled with his key, almost dropping it more than once as he tried to find the lock in the dark. The two pitchers of margaritas he’d had with his coworkers for his belated birthday party didn’t help. He really should’ve left the outside light on, but he hadn’t anticipated staying out this late.
