Chapter 3 The next thing he knew, he was pushing his hat down over his eyes to block the fast-moving sunlight filtering through the train windows. It was morning. He was sore; his muscles ached from sleeping sitting up. “I feel like I’ve been working the horses all day. Man, this traveling business is harder than it looks,” he said as he blinked, while searching for his sunglasses. He needed a shower, a decent meal, and a good night’s sleep.
