BOTH ALEJANDRO AND LUCILLE were shocked when Alex and Chase told them about their sudden plan of getting married.
Alejandro was dumbfounded at what her daughter said. He couldn't believe that his only daughter is planning to leave them and have a family of her own. That his and Lucille's baby has grown up into a woman and will have her own babies in the near future. And a life of her own together with her new family.
"Dad." His daughter's voice brought him out of the trance he was in.
She knows he was still shock about their news. He must have felt hurt knowing their sudden plans of getting married. On her quick decision of agreeing to Chase's wedding proposal. She's daddy's girl after all. She's very much close to her father than her mom, and much spoiled by him.
"Y-yes Alex?"
"It's still yours and mommy's decision we will follow dad. If you won't allow to get married yet, then we'll might as well postpone the wedding for now."
"N-no baby. I f you both really want to get married and you feel ready enough then why would we be a hindrance to your happiness? If that's what your heart desires we will not oppose."
"Thank you Uncle." Chase gratefully said smiling widely.
"Can we talk even just for a bit Chase? Just the two of us, privately."
