Episode:Finale

The rain fell softly on Gia's grave, as if even nature was mourning her untimely death. Alfred stood motionless, staring at the cold earth that now held the woman he loved. His heart felt as if it had been hollowed out, and the weight of despair pressed down on him with each passing second. He had failed her. He had promised to protect her, to give her a life full of love and happiness, but instead, she was gone. He had always known that his parents were ruthless. But to learn that they were the ones behind the fire that had taken her life — that they had orchestrated her death — was more than he could bear. How could they? he thought. How could they do this again? Alfred’s thoughts raced back to the years before, to Mica, to the promises he had made to himself. He had once sworn to never let his family destroy the people he loved, but now it felt as though he was forever doomed to repeat the same tragic fate. His parents, Don Roberto and Clarissa Montenegro, had orchestrated Gia's death just as they had done with Mica. They couldn't bear the thought of their son being with someone beneath their status — someone they deemed unworthy. They had taken everything from him again. Alfred felt like his whole world had crumbled. His family, the people who were supposed to protect him, had taken the life of the one person who had ever made him truly happy. His guilt was suffocating. How could he have let it happen? How could he not have seen the signs? In the days that followed, Alfred fell into a deep depression. He withdrew from everyone around him, his thoughts consumed by Gia, by Mica, and by the dark shadow his parents cast over every part of his life. On the day of Gia's burial, Alfred could barely stand the pain. After the funeral, he couldn't bear to return home, to face the mansion that had once been his refuge but now felt like a prison. His mind was a whirlwind of anger, sadness, and guilt. He made his way to Gia's grave, knowing he couldn’t escape the overwhelming emotions. He needed to be close to her, to apologize for failing her, to tell her that he loved her and would never forget her. Kneeling before her grave, he whispered, his voice breaking. “I’m so sorry, Gia. I’m so sorry. I couldn’t save you. I couldn’t protect you from them.” The tears flowed freely now, his heart shattered beyond repair. “I’ll be with you soon, Gia. I promise,” he whispered, his voice barely audible over the wind. He raised the vial to his lips and swallowed the poison without hesitation. The bitter taste burned as it went down, and within moments, Alfred felt the world around him begin to spin. His heart raced as the poison took hold, but he felt no fear. He only felt an overwhelming sense of relief — relief that soon, he would be with Gia. As he collapsed to the ground, his body going limp, Alfred’s last thoughts were of her. The pain was finally starting to fade. And in that fading moment, he felt as if she were with him, guiding him through the darkness. But his body failed him, and the darkness consumed him completely. Hours passed before anyone found him. Alfred’s lifeless body was discovered by a cemetery worker who immediately called for help. But it was too late. At the hospital, doctors fought desperately to save him, but the poison had already ravaged his system. Despite their best efforts, Alfred’s heart stopped beating. He was gone. News of his death spread quickly, and his parents, Don Roberto and Clarissa, were informed. But neither showed any real emotion. To them, Alfred’s death was just another tragedy in their carefully constructed world of lies and manipulation. It was then that Alfred’s parents realized how far their control over him had gone — how deep their cruelty had embedded itself into their son’s soul. But it was too late. The son they had tried so hard to mold into their perfect heir was lost to them forever. As for Alfred, he was finally free. Free from the manipulations of his parents. Free from the guilt. But it came at a high cost. His life, and the life of the woman he loved, were both sacrificed on the altar of his family’s power and control. Alfred would never be able to undo the mistakes of his past, but in his final moments, he was at peace. At last, he was reunited with the people he loved.
