Chapter 13

I was ready to finish my alpha work to get back with my mate. I need to spend more time with her, to get to know her, but also my wolf is driving me crazy to mate with her. I don’t want to push her, I really don’t. I just hope that she also wants to as well. While we finish our work, we can hear the girls outside from the open window. Steve stands up and looks out.

“Seems like our mates are getting along just well.” He says smiling. “I’m glad. That way we can all hang out and not have girl drama.” Matt replies. We all laugh at that.

“Come on guys, we are done for the day. Let’s go see what they are doing.” We all put our stuff away, before walking out towards the patio.

“Hello ladies!!!” Matt yells while opening his arms wide. The girls turn around and sees us walking towards them. They laugh at how Matt has his arms open, expecting for Claire to run to him, which she doesn’t. He walks up to her and gives her some puppy eyes. Steve and I chuckle at his reaction, hugging our mates.

“You guys are done already?” My mate asks. I kiss her in the cheek, making her giggle. “Yeah, we are done already. Are you hungry?” I ask. She nodded. “Come on, lets have dinner then.” We all go into the house, towards the kitchen. We sit down getting ready to eat. We hear a commotion in the living room.

“What in the world is going on in there?” Matt wonders. The kitchen doors open and in walks a she wolf. Not any she wolf, my ex-she wolf, Vanessa. Don’t get me wrong, even though we dated, we had never done it together. I saved myself for my true mate, as cheesy as that sounds.

“Well hello darling. So long I haven’t seen you. You know, I have been waiting for you to come back but when you did, you never hit me up,” She says. Luz was glaring at her, knowing the type of she wolf that Vanessa is. Vanessa is the type to hop from on wolf to another with no care at all, but still tries to get back with me, no matter how many times I tell her to f**k off.

“Vanessa, how many times do I need to tell you, f**k off!”

“Oh honey, you know you still want me, even if you deny it. No little girlfriend of yours will ever replace my spot next to you. I will be your Luna when your true mate is not here. By then, it will be all me.”

“Hate to break the news to you slut, but he already found his true mate, and she is sitting right next to him!” Luz exclaims. Vanessa turns around to look at Liz, glaring at her up and down. She scoffs at her and says,” Oh please, she has nothing compared to me. She will never be a true Luna like I will.”

“What makes you say that” Liz questions. “Look at you, you look weak, unfashionable, pathetic. I at least will look good as a Luna, plus I am not a weakling like you.” Vanessa tells her.

“I don’t care who you are, but you better not talk to my best friend like that!” Claire yells. Matt holds her down before she even jumps at Vanessa.

“I told you, f**k off. I will never leave my mate for you. You are nothing compared to my princess. She is the only true Luna who will always be by my side. Stop dreaming n=and just go!” I exclaimed.

“Trust me honey, I will be your Luna. Seeing as she isn’t bearing tour mark, I still have a shot. I will be the only one with your mark, and rule as your Luna, like it or not. You will be mine.” She turns around and walks away, slamming the door when she exits.

“If I see her around here one more time, I will beat the crap out of her.” Luz tells me. I look at her and nod. I don’t know many times I have told Vanessa not to come around, but she still does.

I look at Liz, getting upset how she looks sad and not looking back at me. I grab her hand and walk out, saying good night to our friends. I take her to our bedroom and sit her down in our bed.

“Princess, please look at me, I promise to you that she means nothing to me. Nothing has happened between us. We only dated but that was it. Nothing else happened. I promise. I’m only yours body and soul, I am only yours.” She looks at confused. “Nothing happened between you two?” “No princess, nothing. As cheesy as this might sound, I saved myself for my mate, for you and no one else.” I tell her.

She blushes and hugs me. I hug her back, tight, not letting her go. “I’m sorry. Just seeing her and saying all those things just put me down. I was thinking that I will be nothing compared to her. And all of the things you might had done to her. I was overthinking things.” She mumbles into my chest. I chuckled. “You do not have to worry about anything princess. I am all yours. And I can prove it to you.”

I start kissing her, smiling that she is kissing me back. I hold her and pull her more into my body. She puts her arms around my neck, her hands into my hair, gripping. I push her towards the bed, getting on top of her. I grind myself to her, making her moan softly. I can feel myself get hard. I know she feels it too. I look at her, she blushes. I kiss her at her neck, licking the spot where I’m going to mark her. “You ready for this princess?” I ask her. “Yes, make me yours Shawn.”

I didn’t need to be told twice.
