Everyone had already evacuated the mountains, going to their own packs small areas on the low grounds and fields, carrying only their important things. There was no assurance that their pack will survive, that the werewolves would win, but they are praying for it.
Bigger packs who have lands and small fields in the lower grounds had housed and welcomed the smaller packs who do not have an asset or lands aside from their territory in the mountains.
Only a few number of pack warriors had accompany and to at least help the families to settle down, they will also be in charge of going to the mountains to receive news of the battle.
