Finally Found By a Wolf

After the Incident

Adrianna's POV*

After the incident everything seemed to have changed. I felt move powerful. Stronger. Like I could finally be myself. 

I didn't know exactly what I was but I was sure I'd be able to handle it. However since then I've stayed away from Max. 

I know he's my mate and all, but I've felt the need for a break. Although he's made it quite a hassle to do so. He keeps appearing out of thin air. He keeps calling me, though how he got my number I will never know, and texting me. He'll appear at my sister's school when I go to pick her up. 

If I thought my dreams were vivid before now it ten times that. Except unlike the metaphorical dreams I used to have now they're more like warnings of what will happen. More like where Max will show up and stuff. 

Now it seems that there are two of me. Heh I guess its because I "finally shifted" I've also met my wolf. Her name is Alissa. She keep pushing me to stop avoiding Max, but for some reason I get this feeling while awake and asleep that being away from him is protecting him. 

I have no idea what it is. I've kept away from him for about a month and I miss him. I miss everything about him and Alissa doesn't make it any easier. 

I need to find out why I feel like I'm protecting him. A constant part of my dreams is seeing these two... women. Powerful they seem... witches I presume. They don't look kind at all, yet I don't have a clue who they are. 

In the time I've been away from Max has been like I've been a magnet to super natural beings. 

I met Katy an incredible vampire that has become one of my close friends. As well as finding out that my best friend Catherine was actually a witch and had hid it from me this whole time. 

It was only when I accidently made a pen twirl in class without touching it and she saw that I told her what was truly going on and she finally let out her secret. 

It feels like destiny is making me realize more things around me. 

Narrator POV*

What Adrianna didn't know was that Katy, Catherine, along with herself were a part of the Scarlet Elites. Not only that but there were more elites to come her way. 

What she also didn't know was that the two witches she dreamt of were those that were a part of the Killer Shadows.

 Her foreshadowing would be a big help of victory she has yet to know she needed, but to figure that out she would need to speak to Max.
