The New Boy. Well... the Alpha

Adrianna's POV* The teacher looked up from his desk and said “Yes it is. What’s your name?” “Oh I’m sorry my name is Max. Max Jones.” “Alright Max, six in the fourth seat in the second row and let’s continue class. Now who wants to answer question 1 on the board?” Just like that everyone in the room was following Max with their eyes. The boys confused and slightly irritated. The girls falling for him. There I was observing them. Tch what was everyone gawking at. A couple of the girls did a flirtatious little wave at him in which he responded with a wink. A WINK! Of course he was that type. The douche, the playboy, the one girl's hearts melt for. Why was I not surprised. All of a sudden he saw me. It was like everything changed. His eyes widened, is face turned from flirtatious to surprised his eyes darkening from an emerald green to a swamp green. I simply ignored him. Didn’t pay any attention to him. Of course his seat had to be the one directly behind me. But instead of staying behind, I raised my hand to answer the math problem on the board. I felt his stare piercing through my back, but I didn’t give him as much as a spare look. I just wrote and explained my answer and sat down.  I don’t know what made me so angry. There were so many people like him out there but the expression on his face when he saw me made me curious. I didn’t dare to question him about it.  His face was so familiar. Too familiar. Like I had known him forever or was searching for him. But his eyes just kept piercing the back of my head. The class ticked by slower than 5th but when the bell rang I fled quicker than Edward on the day he saw Bella for the first time in Twilight. I didn’t wanna be stuck there. I couldn’t bare to stay there any longer.    I made it through the enormous crowd faster than usual then off to art. Finally freedom. He surely wouldn’t have this class. Would he? I was terribly mistaken.
