Our sparing was going on for hours, neither of us wanted to end it. Even though I felt quite sore in my ribs from some of the jabs he made contact with. The only reason we even stopped was Nik walking over and smacking us both in the back of the head. “I told you two enough an hour ago. I’m starving, now get your ass walking towards the house. Pronto.” He told us as he passed us cups of water that Benji was carrying. Now he looked rough, but he smiled like he truly enjoyed sparring with Nik.

“Luv, I wasn’t finished.” Liam groaned as he grabbed the cup of water. Finishing it in one go.

“Did you not hear me, mutt. I’m starving, which means these boys are as well.” Nik growled as he gave Liam another smack to the back of the head.

Making me smirk, I quite enjoy watching him getting smacked around. Nik’s my second favorite adult. My first would be Gravos, he’s just to f*cking cool to be around. Liam’s my fourth, just because I can’t let him get too close to the top. Above him would be David, I’ve grown up with David around so I know him quite well. I remember when he was sold to the king, he scared every single one of us when he walked through the cell halls before he was locked behind on himself. He stayed quiet, didn’t move, didn’t eat, he only listened to what the king told him to do. I’m pretty sure he starved for a month, because the king forgot about his obedience. The king would order David to kill anyone that disobeyed him, that’s pretty much the only thing the king let him eat…his opponents.

So seeing him finally smiling, was like a huge black smog cloud being lifted. Yesterday I caught him cooing his little ones and I almost didn’t recognize him. Smiling, I began following Liam and Nik. My brother close beside me with a groaning Jackson behind him.

Liam was teasing Nik, when we rolled up in front of the house to find Isaac sitting on the porch reading a book to his mates while they rested their head on his shoulders. He’s a pretty cool dude, he’s scary smart and seems to know almost everything.

“Isaac, I told you to join us so you can get into training.” Liam said, while walking over and ruffling his black and white hair.

“Sorry, I don’t think that’s me. Plus this house is way too full of Alphas. I’m just going to be a teacher.” Isaac said before going back to his book.

“Alright, if that’s what you want.” Liam said, before ruffling his hair once more. I noticed how Liam treated his younger brothers as if he was their father..to be honest I was envious of them.

“Did you boys have fun training?” Violet asked while coming out of the front door, she instantly grabbed Benji as he was the closest and hugged him tightly. “Ooh, Stella and Freya are watching tv just to let you know.” Giving me a wink before she kissed Benji’s cheek walking him inside.

Squeezing past them, I flew into the living room to see Freya braiding Stella’s long white hair. She turned her head and smiled over at me. “Hi.” She grinned, her cheeks growing red as she quickly ducked her head.

“Hi, Freya.” I said before moving to standing behind her. “Mind if I?” I asked, while lifting her hair up and onto her shoulders.

“I’d love you too.” She said, I don’t care what anyone says. I love caring for my mate, so I watched YouTube videos on how to braid hair and many other cool tricks so I can have an excuse to touch her. Softly rubbing my fingers through her hair, brushing it until it was nice and smooth. I leaned over and asked “French or Dutch?”

“Dutch!” She giggled as my breath brushed past her ear, I assume tickling her.

Smiling brightly, I enjoyed the sound she makes when she giggles. It’s like hearing little bells chime. I began separating her hair so she’ll have Dutch pigtails, while the movie Frozen played on tv. I may have worked extra slow as I wanted to keep touching her. But all too soon, her hair was braided. Holding both ends, I leaned back down. Brushing up against her, while I grabbed two bright blue rubber bands. Once they were keeping the braid in place, I sat down super close to her while Benji laid on the ground with Stella brushing his hair.

“Whatcha watching?” Liam asked while sitting next to me, Violet sat on his lap while Nik sat on the floor between her legs.

“Frozen! I wanna be Elsa so bad.” Stella said while holding her side braid Freya did.

“If you're Elsa, I wanna be Olaf!” Violet said, making us all laugh.

“Who’s Olaf?” Nik asked while looking at the tv with curiosity.

“Have you ever watched this?” Stella asked while turning her head to look at him with complete shock written on her face.

Chuckling, Nik said “Sorry, I don’t make it my mission to watch tv. I think I’ve only watched maybe four movies in my whole life and that’s when I met my mates.”

“Aren’t you over a century old? Like how is that possible?” Benji asked, sounding bewildered.

“What movies did you watch?” I asked, curiously.

“I watched a Terminator movie, The Notebook, Blade because Liam wanted to show me what he thought vampires were like. Then Super Mario Brothers in the theaters.” Nik said while watching Frozen with his eyebrows furrowed. Like he couldn't understand why we were watching it.

“Which one was your favorite?” I asked.

“Blade.” He said not even hesitating.

Making us all look at him before chuckling. Of course the vampire movie was his favorite. “Come on, I thought the Notebook was so good.” Violet said while she massaged his shoulders.

“Nah, it was completely a sob story. You can clearly see it was to make girls cry.” He said while he leaned back to make it easier for her. “Like don't you have to be sick to wanna make a girl cry?” He asked just as Olaf came on the screen. “Wait, you want to be a snowman?” He turned to Violet, Liam couldn't stop laughing while Violet just said “What he's just so cute and loveable!”

Nik raised his eyebrow, before turning back to the tv. Just then a song broke out and the twins, plus my sister began singing. I couldn't help but smile as I leaned closer to Freya as her voice soothed my soul. She brought her knees to her chest, turned until she was curled around me after the song was over. Playing with my fingers while she watched the movie play out. I love her, like so so much. I guess I'm going to be following in Asher's footsteps as I wait for my mate to grow older. But unlike him, I'm not in a rush. I want her to just stay so innocent and pure for as long as possible.

“I better start making breakfast for everyone.” Violet said as she got up, seeing as we get up pretty early around here we usually eat breakfast around five or six in the morning after two to three hours of training.

“Why don’t you rest, I’ll make breakfast.” Liam said, but she quickly shook her head no.

“Not going to happen. You all just trained really hard, it’s the least I can do.” Violet said before walking towards the kitchen.

“Well if she won’t let me help with cooking, I’ll go get the little ones ready.” Liam said before getting up, easily moving around Nik who was still between his legs while watching the movie still. It was at the part where that prince guy just let all of us know he’s a bad guy.

“I knew something was fishy about him.” Nik grumbles, as he smacked Liam on the ass just as he began walking off. He then got up and sat beside me, completely curious about how the movie was going to end.

I chuckled, watching his face. He definitely doesn’t look like a guy that’d be interested in a movie like this, but then again they say never to judge a book by its cover. However, I know for a fact Sebastain fell asleep while watching this very movie. “Natsu, would you wanna come cuddle with me in my room while we listen to music?” Freya asked while looking up at me with big doe-like eyes.

“Of course.” I stood up and helped her to her feet.

We just got to the stairs when Nik called out. “No funny business you two, you're way too young.”

Freya looked as red as a tomato, while we walked up the stairs and towards her room. He only said that as I’m seventeen and she’s thirteen. But he definitely shouldn’t worry about me, I’m a perfect gentleman. Smiling, I walked into her pink and brown room. I’ve been in here before over the years, well since I was fifteen and found out she was my mate. Me or my jaguar wont go a day without seeing her, and she told me the same thing about her tiger. I even have a few sets of clothes in here as I like to take showers after I work out, that way I smell nice for her when we cuddle.

“I’ll change while you take your shower.” Freya said while digging through her drawers for some comfy clothes.

I grabbed some clothes for myself, a dark gray t-shirt and my black pajama pants. I was in and out of the shower, smelling like her delicious strawberry body wash. Seeing her curled under the blankets waiting for me, I give her my best smile as I make my way to the bed. Crawling in and under the cover, I pull her close as she rests her head on my chest. She slips an ear bud in my ear, then presses play. Resting my chin on the top of her head, the feeling of being fully content I was soon fast asleep.
