After bidding farewell to Emma and Abby, I make my way back to the hotel, my mind abuzz with a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation. As I step inside the familiar lobby, the gentle hum of conversation washes over me, mingling with the soft strains of music drifting from the nearby lounge. Taking the elevator up to my floor, I can't help but feel a flutter of excitement at the thought of my upcoming date with Andy. Despite my initial reservations, there's a part of me that can't help but be drawn to him, to the undeniable chemistry that simmers between us like an electric current. As I step into my room, I am greeted by the soft glow of lamplight, casting a warm, inviting aura over the space. With a sense of purpose, I set about getting ready for the evening ahead, selecting a simple yet elegant dress from my suitcase and carefully styling my hair into loose waves that cascade down my shoulders in a cascade of golden curls. As I prepare for my date with Andy, my phone buzzes with a new message. With a curious smile, I pick it up to find a text from him. "Something has changed but we are still on, a car will pick you at 7pm. See you soon love." Reading his message, a surge of mixed emotions washes over me. What could have changed? Despite the uncertainty, there's a sense of reassurance in his words, a reminder that no matter what obstacles may arise, our connection remains strong. With a sense of resolve, I tuck my phone into my purse, pushing aside the questions that threaten to cloud my mind. Whatever changes may come, I am determined to make the most of this evening, to embrace the opportunity for a fresh start with Andy. With a final glance in the mirror, I nod in satisfaction, a smile playing at the corners of my lips as I take in my reflection. Despite the nerves that still flutter in the pit of my stomach, there's a sense of confidence that settles over me, bolstered by the knowledge that tonight, I am taking a chance on love. The clock ticks closer to 7 pm, I make my way downstairs to the hotel lobby, anticipation bubbling within me like champagne waiting to be uncorked. As I make my way down to the hotel's Lobby, my heart races with anticipation, each step bringing me closer to figuring out what has changed about our plans. Anxiety is something I really hate. I mean is there even a person who loves it? And as I step into the lobby of the hotel, a friendly hotel staff member approaches me with a warm smile. "Excuse me, Ms. Olivia," he says politely. "There's a vehicle waiting for you outside. It's arranged for your transportation." Surprised but intrigued, I thank him and quickly make my way outside. As I step through the glass doors, I am greeted by the sight of a sleek black sedan waiting at the curb, its polished exterior glinting in the soft glow of the evening lights. Approaching the car, I am struck by its elegance and sophistication. The tinted windows hint at privacy, while the luxurious leather seats beckon invitingly from within. A sense of excitement bubbles within me as I reach for the door handle, anticipation coursing through my veins like electricity. Slipping into the plush interior, I am enveloped by a sense of comfort and luxury. The scent of leather and polished wood fills the air, mingling with the faint hint of cologne that lingers from the previous occupant. Settling into the seat, I can't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within me as the car pulls away from the curb, carrying me towards the unknown adventure that awaits. As the car glides through the city streets, I watch the passing scenery with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. Andy's cryptic text message echoes in my mind, leaving me to wonder what changes he's referring to. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel a flutter of anticipation at the thought of seeing him again. Soon, the car pulls up to a quaint, ivy-covered building nestled on a quiet street corner. I step out onto the cobblestone path, my eyes widening in awe at the sight before me. The restaurant exudes an old-world charm, with twinkling fairy lights adorning the ivy-clad facade and soft jazz music drifting out from within. As I step through the ornate doorway, I am greeted by the warm glow of candlelight and the gentle hum of conversation. The interior is just as enchanting as the exterior, with rich mahogany furnishings, plush velvet drapes, and intricate floral arrangements adorning each table. A hostess greets me with a friendly smile and leads me through the bustling dining area to a secluded corner of the restaurant. My heart skips a beat as I catch sight of Andy sitting at a beautifully set table, a smile lighting up his face as he rises to greet me. But my surprise turns to shock as I realize he is not alone. Seated across from Andy, wearing a mischievous grin, is none other than Emma. My jaw drops in disbelief as I approach the table, my mind reeling with confusion. "Surprise!" Emma exclaims, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she rises to greet me. "I couldn't let you have all the fun with Andy tonight." Andy chuckles at Emma's antics, reaching out to pull out a chair for me. "I hope you don't mind the company," he says with a grin. "Emma insisted on joining us for dinner." I shoot Emma a playful glare as I take my seat, unable to suppress a smile despite my bewilderment. "I should have known you were up to something," I tease, shaking my head in mock exasperation. Fuck!!!!! Now I have to tell her everything. I hope Andy hasn’t told her much.
