Natalia was almost unconscious on the ground, she couldn't get up and move. She could only stare at the sky. The man had finished discussing with his boss on the phone when she saw him turn back and return to her. The others surrounded her, they soon multiplied in number.
A van pulled by, her vision was blurry but she could clearly see the dark colored van. One of them carried her up on his shoulder, and as he headed towards the van with her. A loud gunshot sound from afar got them all distracted.
He quickly placed her inside and shut the door.
“It's the bastard heir of Alpha Sinclair, how do we get rid of him, boss?” one of the guards said, and Natalia heard him. She tried to call out Raymond's name but it was faint and weak. She couldn't anymore as her eyes shut close.
