Turns out it had been nothing. The emergency alarm at the resort had gone off but there had been no breech or threat in the resort. As Raymond narrated to Natalia how annoyed he had been having to cancel their date, Natalia wondered why the servant had lied.
Could there have been a motive behind it?
“You look lost. What is it?.” Raymond asked bringing her out of her reverie.
“I’m... it’s just confusing. That’s all. Who would’ve turned the emergency horn on?.” Natalia asked.
Raymond shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. Maybe some horny couples who were getting off in public?.” He teased.
“Raymond!.” Natalia yelled out smiling as she blushed from his words.
“What? It could be. The most important thing is we’re safe. That’s all that matters.” Raymond replied.
