Chapter Thirty-five Professor Max Schultz commenced his evidence after the luncheon break. He was a dapper, bright-eyed sparrow of a man, with a clear and commanding voice, a receding hairline and a bright blue polka-dotted bow tie protruding from his brown suede coat.
