Episode 2: Slap in the Face

Athea groggily woke up as she prepares her things since she's going to school. She take a shower when look herself in the mirror.
"How ugly." Athea laughed mockingly at herself when she sees her face in the mirror but she continue on and take a shower, then wear her uniform. Athea walk out of her room and went to eat her breakfast before going out.
"Grandma, I'm going," Athea said goodbye to her Grandmother and go to the bus stop to wait for a bus since her school is twenty-minutes away from her house when she ride a bus.
She sighed and look down on her phone, wanting to send a message but can't since the two of them broke-up already.
"I'm gonna see him in school. I wonder, is he sad or not," Athea whispered "Nah, probably no, his the one who break-up with me after all."
Athea hold her tears from falling and walk to the bus who stop.
Reaching the school Athea went to her classroom immediately. Her friend Tracy notice her and went to her when she notice Athea.
"Athea what happened? Are you okay," Tracy asked worriedly because she notice her red and swollen eyes.
"I'm alright Trace I'm alright," she weakly says. Her tears is about to fall so Tracy hug her immediately.
"Shhh, it's alright I'm here." Tracy comforted her best friend until the class start.
The teacher also notice her but didn't say anything and just continue with their lesson. Time slowly pass by and it's lunch break.
"Wanna go eat together in the cafeteria?" Tracy asked her.
Athea just nods and didn't say anything. On their way to the cafeteria Athea notice Joeford immediately together with his friends and a girl name Isabel. She walks towards them without them noticing.
"Ford, I heard you break-up with your girlfriend?" Isabel asked.
"Yeah, we did." Ford nodded and he seems sad.
"Ford, I already told you. You don't need to worry about it. It's her lose. She broke up with you without a reason! No need to think about her." Exclaimed Mike.
Athea heard all about it and she is shocked. They're talking and blaming her that she's the one who broke up with him. Tracy heard it too and look at Athea and sees that she's started crying already.
"It's alright ford, don't be sad, we're here for you. I'm also here for you," Isabel told Ford with a sweet smiled.
"Thank you Isabel." Joeford smiles gently and hold her hand.
"The two of you look good together." Mike told them with a laugh.
Ford and her friends together with Isabel talk about her about how bad she is and badmouthing her sometimes.
Athea can't take it any longer. Crying she grab him and slapped his face. Athea is so mad that she's going to explode.
"Is that how you see me! I'm the one who break-up with you?" Athea shouted at him and question him as she cried harder because of her anger and sadness.
Ford is too shock to speak as he stare at her.
"Ford! You're the one who break-up with me! I supported you with anything you want! I didn't even question you. I let you do everything you wanted to do I never forbid you to do anything because I love you too much. Way too much that I forgot how to love even myself! But this is how you repay the love I gave you?! Breaking up with me without a reason!" Athea speak while trembling in anger.
"A-Athea this..." Joeford want to speak but Athea didn't let him.
"Don't tell me you even forgot what you told me. I asked you! I asked you to give me a reason but what reason did you gave me," Athea look at him with pain. "You told me, you fell out of love and that you don't want our relationship to continue because it's hopeless! You're the one who left me!" Athea said with anger and sadness.
Joeford can't find a word to refute Athea as he sees the pain in Athea's eyes, he felt guilt but not regret.
"Ha! How fool have I been, your the one who leaves and yet here, I become the one who is heartless by leaving you! When the truth is that your the one who is heartless. Are you happy, now that I suffered? What did I do wrong?" Athea cried and ask with grief.
Tracy can't take her best friend being like so she grab Athea and leave but not before giving Joeford a glare. Tracy bring her to the back of the school where there is a field they go to the biggest tree and sit on the grass. Tracy hug her tightly.
"I'm here, Athea ." Tracy comforted her until she calm down.
"Trace, I'm really pathetic. I'm such a fool." Athea cried and hug her knees.
"No it's not you it's them. And it is him who is a fool for hurting you like that." Tracy just patted her friends back gently.
"I give my love, no I give him all my love that I almost didn't leave anything for myself. Yet this is what I get back in return." Athea smiled sadly.
Tracy look at her with heartache and keep on patting here gently and holding back her tears too.
"Don't think about him anymore, learn to love yourself starting from now on start to move on. Thea I know one day a right person will come for you." Tracy advice her gently.
"Easy for you to say, but it's hard," Athea answered.
"Hard for now but I know one day you'll move on. How about this, since you have a social media to keep your thoughts away from him why don't you use it? You can know a lot of people too," Tracy said with a smiled.
"You mean f*******:," asked Athea.
Tracy nods. Yeah f*******: you can find interesting people there, you also can add some friends," Tracy added.
The two of them talk a lot and the time for lunch break is over. The two walked back to their class when they meet Joeford and his group again. But Tracy just drag her and continue moving forward without looking at them.
When they reach their classroom the two sit on their sits and listen to the lesson until it's time for them to go home.
