DELIVERY

DELIVERY BUSINESS The Delivery Business is a multi billion naira industry, and like I mentioned earlier, it has the capacity to keep up to a million Nigerian youths engaged in the delivery of one product or another, and numerous other services. Nigeria is yet to scratch the surface of this ever expanding Industry. When I say it's a multi billion naira industry, I am not exaggerating. Take Lagos State that has about 20 million people as their population. EVERYONE must drink water. After all, water is life. If 20 million people will drink 2 sachets of water daily at 10naira per sachet, we are looking at 40 million sachets daily. That's 400 million naira in sales everyday. That is 12 billion naira every month as revenue generated from sales of sachet water alone in just one state out of thirty six states. And this is just one product out of hundreds. Again, like I mentioned earlier, every household has needs. It is left for the prospective delivery agent to identify the needs of every household. When we mention Daily and Weekly Need Products or Services, we are referring to products or services that people require on a daily or weekly basis. A few examples of such are food, water, beverages, fuel, power, security, transportation and so on. It could also be soap or detergent, cooking oil, groceries, bread, sugar or milk. On the other hand, Monthly Need Products or Services are products or services that are needed on a monthly basis. An example of such is the refill of our Cooking Gas. It could be sanitation of premises or fumigation against insects or mosquitoes. Lastly, comes the spontaneous needs. These are unspecified, and can be anything from the daily, weekly or monthly need products. The only difference is that they are not Predetermined Deliveries. Your task as a Delivery Agent is to identify the various needs of the households that form part of your Customer Base. Youths should be trained in the provision of goods and services to various communities... Preferably communities close to their place of residence. If that is not obtainable, or a prospective Delivery Agent resides in a rural community, then it's their task to seek out an urban settlement. An estate is a perfect target market. In first world countries, products like milk, fast-food, newspapers etc, are delivered to houses at the doorstep. It's a pre-arranged system where delivery agents know the households that have subscribed for it. In China and India, already hundreds of thousands of youths are engaged in such businesses, where even groceries are now delivered at home. I have a model where one can start the business of delivering water, bread or groceries with a capital of 20,000naira only and make between 25-30,000naira on a monthly basis. Also know that some of the richest people in the world are engaged in the delivery of products, goods or services to billions of their customers around the globe. The Delivery Business is the new OIL in Nigeria.
