Clyde's forceful grip compelled Eleanor to meet his eyes, but she didn't want to risk another slap. So she kept her lips tightly sealed.
Clyde narrowed his eyes menacingly, his expression gloomy.
However, before he could speak, footsteps echoed from not too far away.
Clyde's expression turned stern instantly. He tried to pull Eleanor into the restroom.
Fortunately, sitting on the ground earlier had given Eleanor a moment to regain some strength. As Clyde reached for her, she twisted his arm, momentarily preventing him from moving her.
"Elie!"
Eleanor turned to see Gianna and Ava approaching with a couple of others.
When Gianna saw Clyde manhandling Eleanor, her face darkened. She rushed forward and kicked him into the corner of the wall.
Freed, Eleanor let out a breath of relief.
