Chapter two; The Three boys

221 Words
On her first day, Allison accidentally walked into the wrong lecture hall. “I’m so sorry,” she laughed. Before she could leave, someone blocked the doorway. “You owe me.” She blinked. The boy standing before her was breathtaking. Dark silver hair. Sharp amber eyes. A perfectly tailored black jacket. He looked more like a prince than a college student. “You stepped on my notes.” Allison looked down. “I—I did?” He held up the crushed papers. “Yes.” “I’m sorry.” “You’ll buy me coffee.” She frowned. “That’s your apology?” “No.” He smirked. “It’s my condition.” The class burst into laughter. “I’m Allison.” “I’m Damien Blackwood.” She rolled her eyes. “Nice to meet you… Your Majesty.” For the first time in years… Damien smiled. ⸻ Later that afternoon she met two more boys. Kai Rivers was the captain of the fencing club. Golden hair. Blue eyes. Always smiling. Unlike Damien, Kai treated everyone kindly. Then there was Rowan Ashford. The mysterious literature student who always wore headphones and preferred books over people. No one knew much about him. Except that he never smiled. Until Allison accidentally complimented the poem he was reading. His ears turned bright red.
