“Neffi,” I heard what sounded like Lara, call to me. Suddenly I was on my back staring up at the ceiling in what was once my room. My head felt like someone had taken a hammer to it repeatedly, so I made sure to keep my eyes closed until the pain subdued. “Neffi,” She repeated.
“Lara?” I asked, before finally opening my eyes and seeing Lara, smiling back at me with the widest grin I’d ever seen.
“Thank the Moon Goddess you’re okay,” she said as she slowly helped me sit.
