Kaela was quiet as Lyra methodically brushed her hair. The girls were escorted back to Lyra’s room once they left the Coliseum. Guards swept them out of the massive stone structure and back down to the waiting carriage shortly after Merrow’s announcement. As the carriage had rejoined the main road, the girls saw a different reaction. People’s excitement and curiosity over a new Luna was washing over Emberfell, whispers racing around trying to outrun each other.
