Selene's POV Later in the day, I received a call from the director's office. When I got there, he didn’t look at me. He just pointed at the pile of files on his table. “Me?” I asked, a little confused. “Finish them all before you leave,” he said flatly, returning his focus to the computer. I stared at him for a moment before dragging the files off his desk and dropping them loudly on mine. That damn director. I swear, I’ll put him in his place someday.
