Selene's POV Warmth. It was the first thing I felt when my eyes fluttered open. For a moment, I thought it was all a dream. The room felt familiar, it was Dark's. I turned my head slowly. He sat there, his back to me. He didn’t make a sound, but I knew he was aware I was awake. I could feel it in the way his body stilled even more. “Dark,” I called softly. He stood up without a word and walked slowly toward the table near the window. “You’re awake.” He said. I gripped the blanket tighter around me and sat up carefully. My heart pounded. “I didn’t...
