Selene’s POV
The car pulled up in front of the hospital.
What were we doing here?
The driver handed me a bag containing a dress. “He asked that you put this on.”
I furrowed my brows. “Why?”
“He didn’t tell me anything, only asked me to give you the dress.”
I took it from him, and he returned to the vehicle, driving off.
Still confused, I entered the hospital. He hadn’t even told me where to meet Director Caius.
I approached the receptionist and asked if there was somewhere I could change. I was directed to a*****e room.
As I unfolded the dress, a small paper slipped from it and fell to the ground.
“When you are done dressing, come to Room 506.”
