Selene's POV
Everyone turned to face me, their faces filled with curiosity.
“What is it?” Dara asked, her voice sounding eager.
I smiled, “Dark has agreed to help. He's sending men to fight with us, but......."
"Did something else happen?" Riven said with worry.
I shook my head looking up to him. " He I’ll be leading them.”
Silas blinked, stunned. “Wait, he agreed? Just like that?”
I shook my head. “Yes he did, I was surprised too."
“Or he saw something in you,” Riven muttered under his breath, barely audible, but I caught it.
My eyes met his, but he quickly looked away, pretending to focus on something else. His hands fiddled with the edge of the book he’d used to fan me moments ago.
