CHAPTER 18
Selene's POV
I followed Jaxon to Dark's room in anticipation.
Some part of me was excited to see him. Perhaps it's because I couldn't wait to let him know of my win. But of course, he must've been informed already.
“Wait here, he'll join you shortly.” Jaxon said when we got to his room. I waited in the outer room because there was a room before his main room.
Dark stepped out after I waited for a few minutes. His beautiful pair of blue eyes fell on him.
I didn't realize I was still standing when he offered me a seat.
“So, you won,” he said like he hadn't expected that.
“Yes, Dark.”
He nodded. “Congratulations. Killian would rest a bit from war. You can worry less now.” he said and I nodded.
