Episode 2: The Key pt. 2

Brienne POV 

I followed the small metalhead to a dark place, I was carrying Jump on my backpack and I was offering him some of the Snickers from my backpack. The metalhead flips a lever and all of the lightbulbs in this place turns on. The place looks like an engineering room because in college I am studying to become an engineer for example on the wall have a lot of tools that can repair a car. I resume to follow the metalhead but I bump something that feels metallic, I gaze up to see a gigantic pink robotic butterfly and it looks very scary.

"Watch out!" The metalhead shouts but he was too late for that call.

"What the hell is that?!" I almost got a heart attack.

"This you're personal Zords. This can help you to fight a monster that transforms into their final form and also each zords is represented by your traits. Like you like to garden with your sibling, favorite song Me Too by Meghan Trainor, favorite movie Wonder. Can I go on?" The metalhead was smashing with a hammer.

"No. I am good."

I pull out my phone to take some snapshots of all zords (Dragonfly, Rattlesnake, Whale, and a dove) but the metalhead grabs my phone and granulates my phone with the hammer. “What! Why do you do that to my phone, my ex-boyfriend just brought that for my 18th birthday and that phone is very valuable.” I sigh.

The metalhead turning around and he walks toward the group I follow him because I just want to protect my sister from an anonymous threat. I saw my sister was having conversations with Justin about her favorite tv show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and they also watching one of the episodes on Youtube. Sam look back at me with her adorable eyes and her amazing smile. Something snaps into my memories.

Three years ago. Christmas Day.

I was a seventeen-year-old girl who is a lame person to hang out with me and my sister Sam was two years younger than me. We were helping our parents furnishing our house with Christmas decorations like putting the lights on the surface, place some things in the Christmas tree and also we were wearing our pJ’s. The Bluetooth speaker was playing Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee.

Later. I and my family was chilling beside the bonfire while eating dumplings with Seoul sauce that our mother cook for the whole family and the dumpling was very pleasant to eat with the sauce and then we finish eating it was time to our present. We grab the present that has our nametag on it and Sam was excited about her present. My father was the first person to open his present and inside the gift, it was a photograph of my grandfather from World War II.

“I brought you this present for your father’s birthday that was last month. And mom help me to get this picture from the bunker.” Sam said to our father.

“Thank you for this gift, my petty deary. Come over here to give me a nice big embrace.” Our father opens his arm and Sam embrace him. “I love you, deary.” 

“I love you too, dad.”

Next, it was my mother so she uses the kitchen cutter to cut down the wrap and open her present. Inside her present was a makeup kit from Jeffree Star and her eyes getting teary by the makeup kit. She put the kit close to her face to get a closer look at different colors on it.

“I get this makeup kit from Jeffree Star only for you, not everybody us and I think that you will use this kit for all day long,” I said to my mother.

“I have a question. How much was the makeup kit?” My father asks. 

“It cost like 30 dollars but don’t you worry I save 25% of your credit card. You still money, daddy.” I nod.

Samantha POV

Eight hours earlier. I was finishing up my project for a summer contest at my school while listening to Khalid music on my earphone and the project was about your summer goal this year. So, I was writing down some blogs about my first day of school in my journal and some awkward stories about my life because I went to show people that I have a lot of good things and bad things in my life. I felt my phone vibrating at my right leg so I pull out my phone to see who is calling me and it was my best friend Beth.

Beth: {What are you doing right now, Sammy?}

Me: {Nothing much. I am just doing the summer project and chilling in my bedroom.}

Beth: {That great! You have to come over to my house because I have something wonderful for you and also I very miss you this past month.}

Me: {Okay but I need to finish my project, babe.}

Beth: {Call me back okay.}

Me: {See you later. Bye.}

A minute later. I went outside wearing my The Little Pony t-shirt that my mother brought me of my 12th birthday, I put on my helmet and sit down on my bicycle. And I starting to ride my bicycle to Beth’s house but at the catwalk, I can see my big sister Brienne was using her phone and also Justin was walking toward her. So I swift my direction to the left to not let my sister see me but suddenly a random key was hovering in front of me and the key was going straight so I follow the key because I want to know who is the keeper of the key.

Then the key freeze in midair in the middle of the street so I park my bike by the oak tree and I slowly walking toward the hovering key. The key drop on the ground so I pick up the key out of the ground and I notice a huge watch beside the key so I also pick up the watch with a keyhole on it. Then suddenly the watch attached to my wrist automated and I try to force the watch out of my wrist but it was unsuccessful. I heard an echo on the left side of my ear like someone was calling me so I put the key into my pocket and follow the echo. When the echo was getting louder, I noticed that the echo was inside the sewer but I don’t get inside the sewer because I don’t want to smell dog poop. But the echo was calling my name so I turn the flashlight on my phone, lift the top piece of the sewer and I hold my breath to jump inside the sewer.

My feet splash the dirty water on the sewer and the water wet my Little Pony t-shirt (goddamn!). I can hear the echo again on the right side of the sewer so I continue holding my breath while following the echo. Suddenly, I fall down at the big hole that I never noticed, and also it was a long fall down like Gravity Falls. 8 minutes later, I stop dropping into an endless hole by comfy pillows, and above me, two boys were watching me as they face was close to my face. So I immediately stand up, glancing around the environment for where I am and this place was cave-like Batman.

“Where the hell am I and why are you guys staring like that?” I was pointing at the boys on my phone.

“I am sorry, ma’am. My name is Pedro and this karate kid over here is Thomas. What yours?” Pedro was smiling at me with his impressive eyes.

“Um...Samantha or Sam for short.” I stumbling with my words.

Pedro grants me a bottle of water from Aquafina so I take the water bottle and drink the entire thing in one swallow (the water was about to finish so…). Pedro was beginning again staring at me for a long time but I noticed that on his wrist that he had the same watch as mine but it was blue. (mine is pink)

"How do you find that watch on your wrist, Pedro?" I ask Pedro.

Pedro peers down to see the watch on his wrist. "I don't remember much but I remember that I was chasing a flying key like Quidditch from Harry Potter."

"How long you guys been stuck in this place?"

"Around fifteen-minute before you I think." I gave the water bottle back to Pedro. "Thank you, Sam."

My phone was starting to vibrate so I pick up my phone to see that my mother calling me while I was dropping for unnumbered hours and I think that my mother was really grieving about me. So, I call my mother right away. 

Me: {Hi, mom.}

Mother: {I am so worried about you, sweetie. You have been gone for-}

Suddenly, the wifi internet just cut off for no reason and also my phone just turn off.
