Chapter Eighteen

[ Rayan ]

It was about 3am in the morning and I was up thinking about everything that happened . Last night was all types of crazy . I wanted to propose to Monica but the s**t that happened last night got me thinking , I've been with her through thick and thin helping her through her pregnancy and now she wants to make decisions without me . I understand that she's pregnant with Trevor's baby but he hasn't been around and plus the s**t he done to her , why would she let him into her life ?

" Daddy . " Savannah whispered .

I turned around and seen Savannah holding her teddy bear .

" Yeah baby girl . "

" I had a bad dream . " She said .

" Come on baby . "

I held my arms out and she walked over to me . I picked her up and walked upstairs to our bedroom and laid her down next Monica . I kissed her forehead goodnight then laid down , trying to get some sleep .

I woke up to sound of Savannah laughing . I sat up and seem Monica tickling her .

" Morning daddy . " Savannah said as she kissed my cheek , wrapping her small hands around my neck .

"Morning baby girl . "

I got up and went into the bathroom to freshen up , afterwards I walked into the bedroom and seen Monica sitting on the bed .

" Ray today me and Trevor are gonna go look at some baby stuff . Do you wanna come ? " She asked .

" Yeah . "

" Ray I'm sorry about what happened last night . It was wrong for me to pick the baby's name without you when you have been with me from the very beginning . " She said .

She got up and walked over to me hugging me tight . I wrapped my arms around her waist and hugged her back . Soon I felt tears on my chest .

" Baby don't cry . "

" Thanks for everything Ray . For taking me and Savannah in . I don't know what I would of done without you . " She said .

I lifted her chin up and kissed her passionately .

She laughed as we broke away from the kiss .

" It's gonna be hard controlling these hormones . " She smirked .

I laughed as she grabbed my face and kissed me roughly .

" Mommy ! " Savannah yelled .

Monica broke away and walked into Savannah's room . She's pissed . I laughed and followed her into Savannah's room .

" Yes ? " Monica asked .

" I wanna go over grandma's house . " Savannah said .

" Which one ? "

" Daddy's grandma . " Savannah smiled .

" Ok get your stuff packed then I'll drive you over there . " Monica said .

" Ok ! " Savannah shouted .

Me and Monica walked back into our bedroom .

[ Monica ]

I walked over to the mirror and looked at my belly . I looked up and seen Ray wrap his arms around my waist , kissing my neck .

" Ray . "

" My bad baby . " He chuckled .

I turned around and pecked his lips . I smiled and slipped on some flip flops , I grabbed the keys and my phone .

" You coming ? "

" Yeah . " Ray said .

We walked out to the car and got in . Ray started the engine and drove to his moms house . His mom is so nice and sweet .

We pulled up to his moms house and got out . Savannah ran up to the door and knocked . Mama opened the door and hugged her .

" Hey mama . "

I said as I hugged her tightly . She knows about my pregnancy and everything .

" How have you guys been ? " Mama asked .

" Good . " Ray said .

" Grandma can we bake cooking ? " Savannah asked .

" Yeah come on baby . " Mama said as she grabbed Savannah's hand . " Y'all to gone on now . "

I smiled . " Alright mama . Love you . "

" Love you you Monica . " She said .

She hugged me and Ray bye then we walked outside to the car .

" How about this crib for my house then whichever one you like for your house . "

I said as I looked at Ray & Trevor .

" Yeah that's fine . " Trevor said .

" Alright we'll take these two . "

" Alright I'll have the bill at the front . " The lady said .

" Alright thank you . " I smiled .

We finished up the baby shopping then headed home . I went upstairs and laid down . My feet were killing me !

" Baby I wanna take you out tonight . " Ray said as he sat down next to me .

" Ok , where ? "

" It's a surprise . " He smiled .

" Ray . " I pouted .

He smiled and kissed my lips softly . He got up and walked out the room . Asshole .

[ Rayan ]

" I want a chocolate cake . " Monica smiled .

" Anything you want baby . "

She laughed at me and went back to looking at the menu . I stood up and walked over to her side of the table .

" Ray ? " She said

I got on one knee and she covered her mouth .

" Monica we started out as best friends now were in a relationship . I love you and Savannah to death . We've been through a lot of s**t but we have got through it . I see me and you being together till the very end . So Monica will you marry me ? "

Monica has tears pouring out of her eyes . She shook her head .

" Yes . " She said .

I smiled and placed the ring on her finger . I got up and she hugged me tightly . People in the restaurant started clapping . I smiled and wiped her tears away .

" I love you Monica . "

" I love you too Ray . " She smiled .
