Chapter Four

- Monica

I smiled and waved bye to Trevor as I walked into the house , I shut the door and walked into the living room .

" Mommy ! " Savannah yelled as she ran over to me . I bent down to her level and hugged her .

" Hi mama's baby ! " I smiled as I tickled her .

" Hey your back ." Ray smiled as he walked downstairs .

" Yeah thanks for watching her ." I smiled as I hugged him .

" It's no problem , hey do you guys wanna go out to eat ? It's on me . " Ray smiled as Savannah jumped up and down .

" I guess ." I smiled . " Come Savannah so I can get you ready." I said as I grabbed her hand . We walked up and stairs and took a quick shower then began getting dressed . ( Monica had on some capris with sandals and a floral shirt . Savannah had on a little sundress and some white sandals)

I combed my hair and put it in a high ponytail and did the same with Savannah . I grabbed my purse then we walked downstairs .

" You guys look nice . " Ray smiled . He had on some nice jeans with a plaid shirt and some white tennis shoes .

" So do you . " I smiled .

" You guys ready ? " He asked .

" Yeah ." I said . We all walked out to Ray's car and got in . I looked out the window as Ray began driving to the restaurant .

Dinner last night went pretty well. Right now were on our way to go her books for school , Savannah was with my mom . I pulled up to the school and we got out . We walked into the college and went to the front desk .

" Hello what can I help you two with today ? " The lady questioned .

" Um yeah I'm here to purchase some books for online school . " Monica smiled .

" Alright . Name ? " The lady asked .

" Monica Reese . " She smiled .

" Alright . " The lady smiled as she typed up her name . " Ok yours books for this semester are $300.00 . " She said .

I took out my wallet and handed her 300 dollars . She smiled and went to go get Monica's books .

" Ray thank you so much . " Monica said as she hugged me tight . " I love you . " She whispered.

" I love you too . " I smiled as she pulled away . The lady had finally came back with Monica's books , she had about 6 different books . We grabbed her papers and books then walked outside and got in the car .

" Anything else ? " I asked as I began driving .

" We'll Savannah's birthday is in two days , I need to get her something's I don't even have enough money to really plan her the party she wanted . " Monica said as she looked out the window .

I grabbed her hand . " I'll help . " I smiled .

" Ray you have already done enough . " She said .

" Monica it's not problem , I'll do anything for you guys . Now what dose she want for her birthday . " I asked .

" She wanted a jeep and just a bunch of toys . I planned on having her a little party in the backyard and inviting some of her friends . " Monica smiled .

" Alright then let's go to Toys R Us . " I smiled . Monica doesn't like asking anyone for help but she wants to give Savannah a good birthday party , and I'm gonna help .
