" Babe ! "
" What ? " Trevor yelled from downstairs .
" Can you bring me something to eat ! "
" Yeah . " He yelled .
I've been feelings a little sick lately , headaches and just everything ! I grabbed my phone and texted Ray .
[ Me ] 4:25pm ; How's my baby ?
[ Ray ] 4:30pm ; Oh I'm doing fine .
[ Me ] 4:32pm ; Not you ! Savannah !
[ Ray ] 4:34pm ; She's eating ice cream .
" Who are you texting ? " Trevor asked .
" Ray . "
I laughed as he sent me a photo of him and Savannah .
" Why do you talk to him ? " He asked .
" Because that's my best friend ! Why does it matter who I talk to ? "
" I don't like you talking to him ! Savannah doesn't need to be over there . " He said as he balled his fist .
" What the hell is your problem ? It's my decision if I talk or send my daughter to Ray's , not yours . "
I sat up and stood up , but was pushed back down . I looked up at seen Trevor standing in front of me .
" Move . "
I pushed him away from me and got up .
" Don't push me ." He yelled .
I laughed and looked up from my phone . I felt his hand go across my cheek , sending me to the floor . He hit me ! I held my cheek and got up .
" Baby I didn't mean to ! " He said as he ran over to me .
" Get away from me . "
I grabbed my keys and phone and headed downstairs . I ran out my car and drove to Ray's ; warm tears running down my face , I pulled up to Ray's and parked my car . I applied some makeup on then walked up to his door , it opened and Savannah came running towards me . I smiled and picked her up , I shut the door and we walked into Ray's room , he fell asleep on my child ! I walked over to him and pulled his hair .
" Man what the hell ! " He yelled .
" You fell asleep on my baby ! "
I walked over to the other side of the bed and sat down .
[ Trevor ] 5:00pm ; Better be at home by 6:00 .
I rolled my eyes and turned my phone off .
Ray rolled over and wrapped his arms around me . I laughed and played with his hair , it's so soft . He began to kiss my side , that s**t tickles . I squirmed around as he laughed against my skin.
" Ray ! "
He sat up and pulled me up on his lap .
" I love you . " He said .
" I love you to best friend . "
I kissed his cheek then got up .
" I love you more than just a best friend Monica . " He said .
I turned around and looked at him .
" W-what ? "
" I just didn't know how to tell you . " He said as he walked over to me . I had tears running down my face , for what reason I didn't know , he can't like me , not now . Why didn't he tell me this before ? He wiped my tears away then his month dropped . s**t .
" What happened to your face ? " He asked .
" I fell . "
" And landed on your cheek . Did he hit you ? " He snapped .
" No . "
" Don't lie to me . Savannah can stay the night here , I don't want my daughter around that abuser. " He said as he looked at Savannah who was now asleep on his king size .
" Did you just say your daughter ? "
" Yes my daughter , I take her as my own . You can't lie to me , I know he hit you . Your lucky that I don't go over there and beat his ass . " He said as he sat on the bed .
" Ray we just got in a fight , I'm fine . "
" I don't give a s**t ! He shouldn't be putting his hands on you or any women . " He said .
" I'm not about to fight over this. I will be ok . "
I kissed his cheek and did the same to Savannah then left . That night Trevor beat me over anger , I kept thinking things would get better but I was wrong .

" TREVOR ! "
I screamed as he kicked me . Savannah and Ray was supposed to come over , but so far they haven't showed up .
" You f*****g slut ! " He said as he slapped me .
" GET THE f**k OFF OF HER ! " Ray yelled as he punched him .
He ran over to me and carried me outside to the car .
" W- where's Savannah ? "
" At my moms , she wanted to play with the girls. Now what the hell is going on ? " He asked .
" He beats me . " I whispered .
" Come again ? " Ray said as he drove .
" He beats me Ray , mostly everyday . I try leaving but he watches me like a f*****g hawk . After he beats me he always says I'm sorry or I didn't mean too .
" Your packing your s**t and leaving . You and Savannah can live with me & that's final ! " He said .
