Chapter 5The breeze was welcome as the sun slowly began to dim, not completely resigning itself to setting, but instead dipping on the horizon slightly. How did people live here, Eirian thought, brushing their fringe from their face, their hand coming back damp with sweat. From Rivulet Hill the Seawood Guesthouse was visible, looming behind them as they ascended, with the remainder of the town stretched out beneath it, whilst ahead was the vast expanse of the endless ocean over which they had travelled to reach Sarah Ann Island.
