Chapter 22Snorri Sturluson sighed with exasperation, perched on the corner of his desk, looking out at the sullen members of his class and the handful of other students he had managed to round up. With dissatisfaction, he noted the two empty desks, one at the front, one at the back. “You guys don’t make my job any easier, you know,” he said sadly. No one spoke, though the occasional sniffle could be heard in the resounding silence. He reached down and picked up a letter from his desk, waving it at the class. “You know the Firmament Foundation is leaning on the school to have the whole lot of you expelled, not to mention some of the seniors who were with you, and that’s before we even talk about the fact that they are likely to press charges because of this little stunt.” Unable to keep
