Dante yawned and immediately noticed the outraged stares of the other two cherubim in the corridor. He must have offended them for daring to be bored on duty, just as he offended them for breathing the air in Elden Palace. At least they minded their own business.
A group of nobles entered the meeting room about an hour after Raphael entered. In three more hours, Dante was close to figuring out how to sleep upright with his eyes open, when the nobles exited the meeting room. First were the king and Michael Azelys, closely followed by Jaziel Hana.
