Raphael wasn’t coming back. It’s been two days since he left to meet the Supreme Virtue and there was still no word from him.
Now Dante was alone. He should have convinced him to go with him. No one in this world could be trusted, and this included the religious figures. Several times, he told himself nothing bad was going to happen to him, since he was the Third Prince of Heaven, and then he remembered he went to a place where he had no authority. And now he wasn’t coming back. Dante never wanted to make this mission personal. He knew his place wasn’t in Elden Palace, and that his contributions to this world would be dismissible at best.
