The next day, Damien woke up quite earlier than usual. He rushed to perform all his morning chores. Then he met up with Ella and Mia on the field.

Ella nodded her head in delight as she saw Damien approached, “You are quite early today, that’s good. The world of a martial artist has to do with the concept of time. Now let’s start with the basic today, what you are to do now is……”

As she rambled on, Damien was lost in thought, ‘how can a 10 year old girl be this mature? In my former world, I would have thought she would be a 16 year old. Well I can’t judge this world with my previous concept of thinking. After all, the maturity age for adults here is 14 years. So if an 18 years on earth is 14 years there then technically she should be a 14/15 years old girl on earth. Now that I come to think of it, she doesn’t have the stature of an average 10 years old, she is almost developed on her chest. Her hips are curvy and her butt is perky. Her feminine figure is getting more obvious. Damn.. this girl is absolutely a femme fatale. I think….’

“Ouch..” Damien held his head as he felt something hit him.

“Are you even paying attention to what I am saying?” Ella asked angrily as she placed her hands on her hips.

Seeing her face, he knew he couldn’t provoke the devil so he could only say, “Ehmm… My Lady.. no I mean Teacher, I think I don’t understand anything about the martial art world. If you may explain from the beginning, I would appreciate it?

Ella slapped her forehead with her palm, she had forgotten that servants can’t receive education so it’s right that Damien wouldn’t know anything about that. She had always wondered where he learnt to read and write which he said he was secretly learning since he was little and also a fast learner.

In this world, servants aren’t taught on how to read an write, only few commoners, rich merchants and nobles do. There is a school for the commoner and another for the nobles at the capital of the Kingdom.

There might occasionally build a school for commoners basic education but it’s the law that all nobles descendants attends the noble school regardless on what he/she talent might be; martial art, books, music, calligraphy, arts, business, governances and the likes.

“Let’s start from the beginning then, this world is known as Puvaria world. According to history, 10,000 years ago, there was only one empire; the Puvaria empire. It was so vast that it covers all the whole world, at that time, there were 5 regions; the northern, southern, eastern, western and central regions which have protectorate overseeing each region except the central region which was the imperial palace hosting the emperor.

The empire flourished until the reign of the ‘Mad Emperor’ so he was called. He killed unjustly, stole and plundered the wealth, women and daughters of his people. He has countless wives and concubines in his imperial palace.

No one could step up and face him until one faithful year, a Great General and protector of the eastern region rose up and fought for the breaking off of his region.

The Mad Emperor underestimated him and casually sent soldiers to the Northern region but they were crushed and ran back in defeat.

He was so angry that he put the defeated soldiers to death and sent another army of soldiers. These particular army were ordered not to retreat, and so were wiped off.

And so he sent more armies to the northern region whereas the other regions had started fighting back. These battle brought about the Great World War…

He had no choice than to focus on all four regions, making the Northern region consolidate its power and influence.

This war went on for hundreds of years. After the death of the Mad Emperor, his descendants continued waging wars on all four regions simultaneously making the Central region grow weaker by the year and the other regions gaining more power.

This enabled the Northern region break off from the Empire and became the first and strongest Kingdom currently; the Drogalla Kingdom.

Then 600-1000 years later, the Eastern and Southern region broke off; the Eastern becoming the Khenid and while the western became the Geria Kingdom. Their military strength now is almost on par with each other.

Then with the support of the three Kingdoms, the Western region finally broke of the Empire’s power 1,500 years ago, becoming the Stellos Kingdoms we know now and our nemesis. Their military strength is below the other three Kingdom due to the centuries of accumulation of strength the three kingdoms had gotten.

Last but not the least, our Great Kingdom, the Granchin Kingdom. 800 years ago, the First Granchin King and my ancestor the Great General Mikael Krane fought and overthrew the Empire; ending the empires reign and millennium of wars.” Ella said as Mia handed a flask of water to her to quench her thirst.

“Then moving on to martial art manuals; there are 4 main classifications which are black, yellow, earth and heaven ranks. Each ranks have 3 subclasses which are lower, mid and upper tier.

Likewise martial levels are divided into 4 great stages: the body refinement, qi refinement, golden core and nascent stage.

Each stages are divided into three tiers; lower, mid and upper tier. And each tier is divided into three levels

That’s level 1, 2 and 3 of each stages is called the lower tier; 4, 5 and 6 is the mid while 7, 8 and 9 is the upper tier. After these level comes a great stage. Understand?”

Damien nodded, “After level 9 of body refinement comes level 1 qi refinement. Next.”
