The First Merman and The Moon Mermaid

Chapter 3: I Need To Find Her

UNKNOWN POV:

Today is the day, where I start my search for my mate and to come out of hiding. My mother raised me in secret for my protection, her name Naomi, my name, Noah. Her mate was a witch, Cain, who was my father, but when i was born it wasn't what they expected at all. There was no such thing as a merman, until I was born.

Naomi, is the strongest mermaid warrior in the seas. My dad being king of witches, which created me, the first merman, yet the king of both witches and mermaids.

The moon goddess visited me in a cave, and explained to me why I am the first merman, and told me, mermaids are becoming endangered. As more mermaids are being brought to land as they found their mates to be witches, but as they come to land, vampires have been lurking the shores, aware of the season, and are attacking in full force. As vampires crave mermaids for prey, but some times(TW) will r**e them before devouring them. She created me as vampires will not prey on me considering im not of the female species in the water. She created me to be protector of all mermaids, but I must find my mate first who is also apart of a royal and strong bloodline in the seas. As when we are fully mated, we can rule in power and conquer these beasts that come after, defile and murder my kind, preventing their mates to ever have had a chance to be face to face. "She is mermaid, but she is not at sea," the moon goddess explains.

My father created a trident with the moon goddesses blessing, specifically for me to use as a staff, to rule over the seas and protect these mermaids, but without my mate, these mermaids are assumed to not trust or accept me. I must find my mate. My water spirit is already longing for her presence.

To land I go. I will find you my beloved.
