I closed my eyes and opened again hoping for this scene to be my imagination, but no, he still laid there whimpering in pain.
"Why?..." I cried as I touched him.
How can he do this to me?!
How can he take that attack for me?!
WHY DID YOU DO THIS, i***t?!
I wanted to yell at him but I couldn't find my voice.
"Nick…why..." I tried shaking him hoping for him to be still alive.
But I got no moment from him. The pain in my chest was eating me alive. I was angry on him for breaking our promise and leaving me.
The rage I never felt before consumed me whole.
