The ride back from the park was silent, I sat with my eyes glued outside the window, I turned to stare at Alex side view, and how his mood was now, I was expecting him to turn at the same time.
Our eyes locked on eachothers, and for a split second I can swear I saw his eyes dazing on my lips. Lily sat happily between us, humming to herself while finishing the last of her ice cream, completely unaware of anything.
I turned immediately, fixing my eyes on the city passing by outside the window, though I could feel Alexander's eyes on me like heat radiating from fire.
