I went downstairs in panic, still wondering what I had done this time. My heart was beating so fast. I left Lily with her nanny to watch over her. So I could go and see what the Hart brothers wanted from me.
When I got to the living room, I saw them seated. Adrian sat on the single couch Alexander loved sitting on, and Alexander sat on the other single couch opposite him.
They were actually talking about something. I couldn't hear them yet because I wasn’t close enough. I never did, because they went quiet the moment they saw me approaching.
