Lillian was unsure of what to do. There was a lot of talking, none of which she could hear, and when she saw another man approach out of the shadows, she tracked him with her rifle. Vincent! So he had been playing them all along. As the thought sunk in, she realized that she wasn’t surprised that he had a hand in all of this.
The Elder Viktor Ambrogio had been a surprise, though. She thought, when it all came down to the wire, that the Elder would be on Isaac’s side. When Viktor began to remove his clothing, her heart had filled with dread. There would be another one of those gargoyle monstrosities for Isaac and her to fight, and she only had three darts left.
