He was pleased to see the look on Aria's face when he mentioned that he wasn't asking for her permission. Now that she got his point he felt even more energized to see her face tonight. At first, he was upset that Aria had suggested smacking him in front of his friends. However, that anger went away when he came up with an idea to get Aria to himself tonight. Yes, that would be an appropriate end to her punishment. I shall woo her, then I'll get her alone and apologize and then, when she forgives me, she will embrace the idea of a passionate night together.
