Chapter 8: The Boy

*Mature Content* Liam POV Deep inside some heiress from England, I try to find my release, but it won’t f*****g come. In fact, it’s nowhere near it. Damn it. She’s screaming out in agony and pleasure all at once as she orgasms again and again, but I just can’t. “Oh God, LIAM!” Her shrill screams only make it harder for me to concentrate on releasing. Deprived of this need, I think about her, her strawberry smelling hair and smooth light tan skin with those perfect nuptials. That’s when I pull out of her and unload buckets onto her back. “Get out.” I struggle to catch my breath. f**k. “Get. Out.” The girl is confused and tries to touch me, but I grab her hand and throw her off the bed. “Do you know who my father is?!” “I said GET THE f**k OUT!” I grab at her throat and throw her across the room. Her body tremors in fear and confusion as she runs out without bothering looking for her clothes. Johnny comes in as she rushes out in her bare body. “Woah, what the hell happened in here?” The room is in a turmoil. I flipped everything and I mean everything over. I tried everything, every position I could think of, but nothing. Absolutely f*****g nothing. “Nothing.” “She score that bad?” I growl at him and he takes a step back in caution with his hands up in the air in a defensive stance. “Okay, okay.” “It’s been four years.” Putting on my shorts with a huff, I walk over to the bar cart in the corner that was pushed onto the floor and grab the only bottle that survived the course of events that unfolded here. “Okay, I knew you had it bad. But this is..” Johnny shakes his head. “Man, you need to get some help.” “Or I need to f*****g find her.” But Johnny shakes his head. And he’s right. I asked Hendrik to stop almost three years ago and that was that. “This is driving you insane.” Johnny adds as I chug the whole bottle of whiskey. He pulls it out from under me and some liquid hits the wooden floors. “I don’t know what the f**k is wrong with me. What time is it?” "3 PM. When did you meet her?” “11 AM.” He gives me a wide eyed look. “You were in here for like four hours?” Johnny then slips up and I catch it. That look he just gave me wasn’t shock, it was regret. “What aren’t you telling me?” I grit out as I stare at him hard. “Hendrik never stopped looking.” I blink hard. “What!?” “He never stopped looking. It was killing him, not being able to find her and all especially since you have been pretty irritable the last couple of months. Well, last three years if we’re going to be honest.” “And…?” “He’s running a lead right now.” “Where?” I almost rush out the door, but Johnny stops me. “Don’t. I don’t want to get your hopes up that we find this girl.” He stops me in my tracks and peels me back into the room. “Chances are it leads to nothing, but he’s trying alright?” “Thank you.” Begrudgingly I give him my gratitude even though I hate to admit it. “That’s very big of you.” Johnny jokes. “Your adventures have created some whispers.” “People need to mind their own business. It’s not like I wasn’t sleeping around before.” “No, but you’re not usually so.. aggressive.” He gestures towards the areas of the bedroom that look torn apart. “So, what?” “The black market thinks you went off the deep end. They’re quite nervous to make you… unhappy.” I smile, at least something good came out of this, I guess. “Good. Use that momentum and ask the Polish Nowak family to sell me their f*****g land in Croatia.” Before Johnny gets a chance to answer, his phone rings and he goes outside to pick it up. When he comes back inside, he has a grave look on his face. “Liam.” I hum out at him. “He thinks he found her, but he’s not sure. You need to go and check it out.” “Where is she?” “Just outside of Paris?” “Paris?” She went that f*****g far?! “Johnny, what aren’t you telling me?” “Just go down there and make sure it’s actually her. I’ll man the fort until you come back.” That’s strange. He only ever does that if he thinks the trip will take awhile. We don’t want to leave this place vulnerable for too long.. I meet Hendrik at the air-strip and he has the same nervousness I sensed from Johnny. What the f**k is their problem? “What?!” I yell out at him, but he just doesn’t react. “This is a picture I took of her when I followed her this morning.” Hendrik hands me a photo of her, God it’s her, and a man walking, conversing about something. As I grip through the pictures roughly, I see him wrap his arm around her. It’s her. It’s actually her. “Where is she?” “Working at some bar.” We hop into the limo and drive for almost two hours before we get there and it’s just about 3 PM here. Hendrik stops me to give me a strange look as I am about to open the door and see her, but he releases my arm and just ushers me to go. I just want to talk to her because it bugs the hell out of me that she left like that. Even if she doesn’t want to see me, I know I have to say something. At least I can put it to rest if I need to. When I open the door, I hear a jingle from the door, and I see her and that guy from the photo kiss. Immediately, I am filled with rage and slam the door shut. Freya POV My heart skips two beats with his arrival. Why is he here? Before any other words can be exchanged between the three of us, he runs towards us and tackles Jerrod to the floor, throwing wild punches at him. “LIAM!” I scream at him as I grab the arm that is punching Jerrod, but he’s a lot stronger than I am. “Please stop!” I’m like a drop in the ocean, he doesn’t even hear me. With one hand on Jerrod’s throat and the other punching him away, Jerrod dodges as much as he can and fights back, but Liam is huge in comparison to him. The door bell rings to signify someone walking in, but I mind them no attention as I continue to struggle against Liam’s arm. For Christ’s sake, please stop. “Mommy!” Theo yells out to me, forcing me to stop, and I hear his footsteps stomp his way over to me. Turning around, I see him come towards me. Liam freezes when he hears Theo call out to me. While I embrace Theo in my arms and stand up, Liam knocks Jerrod out and quickly gets up to face us. “What’s going on?” Jane asks while another man runs in from behind her. “Fuck.” He says and I cover Theo’s ears. “Mommy, are you okay?” Theo pats me on the back like I’m his child. If we were in different circumstances, I probably would have laughed, but not today, not now. “Yes, mommy is okay.” Liam stares hard in our direction, causing Theo to shy away from him. “How old is he?” Liam’ chilling voice comes out, threatening to practically light the entire bar on fire. His rage before is nothing compared to the heat that comes out in waves now. “Theo, go with Aunt Jane outside.” He shakes his head at me and cuddles deeper into my chest. “Theo, baby, come on. Mommy needs to talk to mommy’s friend right now.” “Theo, how old are you?” Liam’ voice is much softer, inviting Theo slowly to look in his direction and meet his fierce eyes. Theo looks to the ceiling as he thinks before putting out two fingers. “Three and a half.” He nods as he remembers his own age. Though I am proud of him, he may have just put us in much bigger trouble than we are already in. “Theo, go with your Aunt Jane now.” With a stricter tone, Theo reluctantly gets on the ground and runs over to Jane. I gesture her to leave us. The man, who I believe came with Liam, stands at the door but waves a goodbye to Liam before he shuts the door softly behind him. Without notice, I get ripped from the ground and my legs are wrapped around a large torso as my back hits the back wall. As I gasp in surprise, his tongue is thrown into my mouth as he kisses me hard and rough with need and lust. I try to push him off of me, but he won’t stop. Just as I am about to clamp down on his tongue, he peels back. Put me down.” I say with a heavy breath as he takes a deep one himself. “He’s mine. Isn’t he? And you didn’t tell me?!” Liam slams a fist next to me and cracks open the wall. “You knew.” I shake my head at him. He is so good. But why did he have to be? Why do I feel like he cares when I know he doesn’t? “You don’t know he’s yours.” “He has my eyes, Frey.” My heart skips a beat when he calls me out by name. “Fine. So, what?” “So, what?! Are you kidding? You didn’t think I had the right to know that I had a kid?” “It wouldn’t have changed anything.” I cross my arms at him with a low brooding tone that makes him confused. “It changes everything.” Scoffing at him, I feel that pang in my heart, one that I feel too often. “God, you are good.” I close my eyes and I know that a tear slips down despite my best efforts to not show him how vulnerable I am in front of him. “I want to talk to him.” Jerrod starts to stir and I can tell he is about to wake up. "Freya?” Jerrod asks me with pain laced in his voice. I head over to him to help him stand up, though I can feel Liam threatening to hit him again from behind me. “Who is this guy?!” With one look, I can tell Jerrod figured it out. It’s quite impossible to not tell. Who else has those blue electric eyes? “I’m really sorry about this, Jerrod. Let me take you to the hospital.” His arm wraps around my waist protectively. “Stay away from her.” I don’t push Jerrod off like I normally would, maybe because in part I want Liam to leave me alone and in part because he needs help standing up right. “Let’s just get you to the doctor’s, okay?” Jerrod looks sweetly down at me as I just politely nod and help him out of here. Jane and Theo are outside patiently waiting, but she comes up to me quickly. “I’ll take Jerrod to the hospital. You should go home.” Jane smiles awkwardly at us. “I think you guys have some things to sort out.” “No, Freya is taking me to the hospital.” Jerrod pleads and grips at my waist tighter. He looks to me to agree with him, but I can’t. Liam eyes us angrily but says nothing. “If I go with you, he’ll probably follow, and I don’t want another round between you guys to happen.” I tell him as I force Jerrod to release me from his hold and he stands upright without Jane helping him. “Fine.” Jerrod grits out before glaring at Liam. Theo runs up to me and gives me a shy grin. “Mommy, can we go home now?” I look up at Liam who doesn’t say or do anything. At least he’s not stopping me. “Yes, Theo. We can go home.” Holding hands with Theo, we start walking in the direction of my place. Liam stands next to me as Theo switches hands so he doesn’t have to stand next to him. “Who is he, mommy?” Theo tries to whisper to me, but I can tell Liam can overhear our conversation. “Just mommy’s friend.” “What’s his name, mommy?” I hesitate to tell him this part. We reach the front of our cottage and I unlock the door to let Theo inside. “Nice to meet you mister.” Theo gives a shy grin before taking off his backpack and hanging it on a hook. As he goes over to the living room, he turns on the tv, and I shut the door so that Liam and I can talk more about this outside. Liam grips me strongly around the waist and pulls me up to face him. Watching me carefully, we just observe every detail of each other’s faces, having not seen each other for so long. His breath fans my face as we breathe each other in. God, I wish he didn’t have this effect on me. “I want to meet him.” I shudder and he drops me down to the floor, but my back is on the door with his two hands besides me. “You can’t keep him from me. Not forever.”
