Chapter Four: "Sudden Loss"

That moment came in Riya's life which was like this. The moment no one expected. Riya's beloved grandfather Aryan died. Aryan's death did not leave Riya's mind. The life of her beloved grandfather was lost before her eyes.
Riya goes with her father Ryan to visit her grandfather first thing after school. Ryan will also be happy to see his father. So one day her father left Riya at home saying he had a small job. Aryan had diabetes.
Aryan was playing with his granddaughter Riya when Riya's aunt Janu and Riya's uncle Jerin got into a fight. Aryan couldn't bear to see his children fight and they wouldn't stop no matter what Aryan said.
At one point Jerin stormed out of the house. Unable to bear his son leaving the house, Aryan gasped. Jaanu quickly went and called jerin but unfortunately Aryan died in Riya's lap.
Riya could not accept her grandfather's death. She couldn't bear to lose her grandfather who she loved the most in this world. Riya thought in her mind for a minute and cried thinking that if they were quiet she could have saved her grandfather.
Riya did not speak to anyone for more than two years after her grandfather's death. Till now Riya could not bear the sudden death of her grandfather. Till now Riya would close her eyes and think of her grandfather whenever she faced any difficulties.
Riya remembers everything that her grandfather taught her from a young age till today. Her grandfather Aryan remains a role model for Riya. Before starting any work, Riya would pray to her grandfather.Aryan remains Riya's companion till now.........
